TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!Its all take take....Was paying a premium membership 115 pounds a month with that you only get 1 member pass a month which is tight considering when you normally join a gym you get many more free passes and if you dont use the pass they expire within a few days each month ABSOLUTELY CRIMINAL considering the Amount you pay a month!!Arrived on a Sunday morning 2 days before my pass renewed with a guest only too be turned away because it was policy!!Come on give me a break I pay 115 pounds a month I asked if they could bring it forward and make a note i used it early but the lady actually turned me and my guest away!!!SO MUCH FOR A PLATINUM SERVICE!! The gym is very good to be honestJacuzzi is great and steam room sauna alsoBUT.... good luck getting in the swimming pool the place is full of families and kids jumping and screaming about not what was sold too me as a 115 pounds a month service.MIGHT ASWELL BE A FAMILY LEISURE CENTRE NOW!! But for 4 times as much!!Mens showers stink of urine and mould and mildew is visible so obviously arent cleaned very much.With bannatynes gyms popping up everywhere for half the price and maybe better quality. It wont be long before David Lloyds will have to rethink the ridiculous price.Because to be truthful its just not worth it SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE !!!
STAY AWAY!!!!COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY AND SCAM...CANCELLED MEMBERSHIP AND THEY KEEP TAKING MONEY FROM ACCOUNT, WHEN I CALLED THE ADVISOR WAS VERY RUDE AND WAS SHOUTING AT ME, STATING I HAVE TO PAY THEM....THE MANAGER CAME ON THE PHONE AND STARTED SHOUTING AS WELL!!!!STAY AWAY, THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE...A WASTE OF PRECIOUS MONEY! VIRGIN/FITNESS FIRST IS WAY BETTER.
facilities (gym, swimming, spa etc) fantastic cannot compete. However some of the staff members need to learn to SMILE more. Look as if you enjoy the job and actually want to be there! Theres nothing more off putting when you come into work and see the same person when ever they are behind the bar not smiling. Other staff members are usually polite and smiley this person the damn opposite. Seems to be the food department that lets the place down, whether thats a higher management problem or not who knows? Reception normally very welcome however does seem cliquey at times much like the whole club come to think of it.Caramel lattes arent bad though. The spin studio is out of order. However, there is no way to tell until a class starts. Despite having made the staff aware of the problem, the lack of visual still persists. The first it happened, I was told the problem was new to them and would fix it. The second time, no one bothered to come back to me. The membership rate requires that all the services advertised for our up-to-date and in full working order. If one of them is unaccessible then the service should be removed from the advertisement and the membership rate adjusted to the new situation. It is unacceptable for a club that claim to be one of the best in the country to have one of its services out of order for such a long time.
Im Glad I ended my Membership, the people that actually do any sort of fitness are nice but the Managers are bad mannered and Snobby, they think there important but only manage a Gym. Go across the road much happier environment
