Extremely poor customer service received while purchasing a property with KHP (staff late for viewings, appointments forgotten, very little knowledge about the property, but more importantly, we have been misled about the acceptance of our offer and the timescale agreed, occuring major costs for us). The inability for the sale's progressor to move the conveyancing work forward made this purchase a rather painful process. Upon completion, a few issues were found at the property (broken blinds, broken freezer, along with numerous unwanted items left at the property made things even worse). After having raised these issues with the branch manager, I have been asked "not to contact her or KHP anymore"!! What a professional way of dealing with these sort of matters! Nevertheless, I had no choice to raise these issues directly with the managing director, who had himself no desire or time to deal with the complaint! What an absolute disgrace for the property industry!
If I could give zero stars I would. Didn't want to deal with me and didn't like the way I was dressed (the eyes don't lie) - I'm a musician and don't conform to the norm. I can afford a property on Kings Hill, but I think the area is too snooty and sterile for me.
KHP were totally professional throughout the whole process and held together a very tenuous sale. Highly recommend them, they are a proper estate agent!
