Appalling service. I drove my 88 yr old mum and 90 yr old dad over half an hour to find they were unable to mend a very small brake in original strap (1956). Strap looks remarkably similar to my 2014 strap. No alternative suggestions given other than buying and having fitted a new leather strap from them. My mother was never given the price and forgot to ask and guess how much that cost 141.07!! After 20 mins they said theyd fit new strap and we could return after lunch to collect. Not ready on return and waited another 20 mins. Lessons learnt. Cant get there by public transport. Dont trust Rolex to give you impartial advice. Rolex rip off leather strap merchant
Rip off asked for a simple bezel insert and they wanted to do lots of work the watch didn't need. So I left there quiet angry

Dire customer service... Had a brand new watch that unfortunately got a scratch on the clasp. They have the facility to easily polish it out (extremely shallow, just quite visible as wide and across the grain, so more of a scuff) but their policy is to only do that at a full service, so thats 10 years away or have a completely unnecessary full service now just to get the polishing or buy a new clasp plate at 566 when the current one only needs a polish to be perfect again. Then suggested if I don't like any of those options, I take it to a third party approved Rolex dealer. Thanks Rolex... so basically independents provide a better service than you? If this is how you are "looked after" having spent a not inconsiderable amount of money with them then it will certainly be my last Rolex purchase and I'd recommend looking elsewhere if after sales care is important to you.
